What is the Church?

The Local Church is an ‘embassy’ of God’s people in a place who gather for the proclamation of the gospel and the administration of the ordinances, to be equipped, edified, encouraged, and sent to tell other the good news about Jesus and glorify God in their lives

Our Mission

We exist to invite others to join us as we find, follow, and share Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our Vision

We want to see our friends and neighbors reconciled to God and one another by the gospel (2 Corinthians 5:11-21), equipped to live out the implications of the gospel (Eph. 4:11-13), and sent out into their local communities and around the world with the gospel (Matt. 28:19-20) so that people are saved and healthy churches are established (1 Thess. 1:8) to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31).

Our Values

The Bible

In the Bible God has revealed his nature, his will, his salvation, and the principles by which he will judge all people (2 Tim. 2:15, 3:16-17; Acts 17:11; 1 Cor. 4:6; Mark 7:6-9).

The Bible

In the Bible God has revealed his nature, his will, his salvation, and the principles by which he will judge all people (2 Tim. 2:15, 3:16-17; Acts 17:11; 1 Cor. 4:6; Mark 7:6-9).

People

God made people in his image, to know him, reflect him, and find their deepest joy in him (Gen. 1:26-27, 9:6; Matt. 6:25-27, 34).

The Gospel

The Gospel is the good news about what God has done in Christ to save his people. The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16-17; 1 Cor. 15:3-4; 2 Cor. 2:4-6; Gal. 2:14; 1 Pet. 1:12).

Local Church

The Local Church is the visible body of Christ in the world. The Local Church is where the character of God and the transformational power of the gospel are made visible in the real relationships of real people (1 Cor. 14:24-25; 2 Cor. 5:11-21; Eph. 4:10-13).
